I chose this particular radio remote control
primarily because it uses 433MHz RF (which is commonly used for radio links between
devices) and because it has very few buttons.
You will, however, notice a small switch below the buttons which makes
available 32 discreet push-on switches in total.
Having few buttons is key as, in typical use, most people don't require frequent
access to that many remote control options, and importantly the individual
buttons are easy to find by touch alone, e.g.: in the dark.
Operating wirelessly also means that the remote will work anywhere in the house,
and underneath duvets or inside pockets.
